Proposition HHH

Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson co-authored proposition HHH during his first 15 months of office to address the homeless crisis in Los Angeles. Proposition HHH allows the City to build tens of thousands of units of supportive housing over the next decade. City Council District Eight has nine HHH funded projects which amounts to 512 units for seniors, families, veterans and individuals transitioning out of or experiencing homelessness. All of these developments will be paired with services to address the needs of chronically homeless people. The services are designed to build independent living and tenancy skills, provide mental health services and treatment and employment services.
