Prince Tribute at City Hall

The Los Angeles City Council will host community leaders who are organizing a memorial service for music icon Prince Rogers Nelson on Friday, May 6 at 5:00 PM. The event will be held at the Spring Street Steps at Los Angeles City Hall which is located at 200 North Spring St. Los Angeles, CA 90012. Radio Free 102.3 KJLH, Fusicology and other sponsors are preparing a musical tribute, and thousands are expected to attend.

City Hall was chosen as the venue as it was recently illuminated in purple on the evening of Prince’s passing and was the primary location for his Diamonds and Pearls music video. Community members are strongly encouraged to RSVP at cityhallprincetribute.eventbrite.com.
