Our office can provide a Certificate of Recognition, a Personal Certificate (birthday, wedding/anniversary, or retirement), or a Certificate for another occasion.
LETTER FOR EVENT PROGRAM OR JOURNAL
Our office can produce a letter for your event program or journal. Please submit your request by email to Vrenely Garcia. Invitations for Councilmember Harris-Dawson to meet you or attend your event should also be submitted through our form below.
If you would like to request an Adjourning Motion for a loved one who has passed away, please email Belem Lamas. If you would like an In Tribute Certificate, please use the form below. An Adjourning Motion is an official motion from the city of Los Angeles to recognize a loved one who has died, while an In Tribute Certificate is a decorative certificate to honor the passing of your loved one.
Please plan ahead. We ask for a minimum of 3 weeks advance notice to process your request. We appreciate longer lead times. If you have an urgent request, we will do our best to accommodate your deadline, though this may not always be possible. Be certain to call City Hall at 213-473-7008 if you have a short deadline.
Please be aware that certificates cannot be mailed, but must be picked up at City Hall or the West Adams District Office
