Albizael Del Valle, Deputy District Director

Albizael serves as Deputy District Director for Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson and is responsible for addressing the needs of constituents in the Southeast and North regions of the district. He works alongside the District Director in providing leadership and support for the field staff, as well as handling all matters related to the Economic Workforce Development, Sanitation, Homeless Services Authority, and the Department of Recreation and Parks. Additionally, he works closely with our educational institutions throughout the district. Previously, Albizael worked for the Azusa Unified School District as a college mentor where his interest in education was reinforced.

Albizael is an Azusa Pacific University graduate with a degree in Global Studies. His capstone project involved researching cooking methods in rural Guatemala and his research quantified the benefits of transitioning from open fire cooking to safe cooking stoves. While in Guatemala, Albizael was also a project coordinator at Pop Wuj, an innovative community development organization focused on rural regions. Albizael believes people are the greatest asset in the District and is ready to serve them wholeheartedly.
