Albizael Del Valle
Albizael serves as a field deputy for Councilmember Harris-Dawson and is responsible for addressing the constituents’ needs of the Southeast and North regions of the district. As part of the district office team, Albizael handles all matters related to the Economic Workforce Development, Housing and Community Investment Department, and the department of Recreation and Parks. Additionally, he works closely with our educational institutions throughout the district. His interest in education was reinforced when he worked for Azusa Unified School District as a college mentor.
Albizael graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in Global Studies. Albizael's capstone project involved researching cooking methods in rural Guatemala. His research quantified the benefits of transitioning from open fire cooking to safe cooking stoves. While in Guatemala, Albizael was also a project coordinator at Pop Wuj, an innovative spanish instruction organization. Albizael believes that people are the greatest asset in our District and he is ready to serve them wholeheartedly.
